Spell Checking Notes¶
JustWare includes a spelling checker feature that makes it easy to identify and correct misspelled words while entering notes. The spelling checker is an attribute set in the JWXML (JustWare Extensible Markup Language). When this attribute is enabled, any misspelled or unrecognized words will be underlined with a wavy red line. This occurs automatically after the misspelled or unrecognized words are typed.
JustWare's spelling checker function can be utilized through the Text Editor. If the Text Editor is enabled through JWXML, a small spelling checker icon will appear whenever you click inside a Notes field. Clicking this icon will open a Text Editor window where notes can be reviewed and spelling can be checked.
To use the spelling checker function, right-click on a word that has been flagged with a red line. A pop-up will appear on your screen with a list of spelling suggestions and the options Add to Dictionary and Ignore All.
Do one of the following:
- Select one of the spelling suggestions from the list. This will automatically replace the misspelled word with the corrected version.
- Click Add to Dictionary. Use this option only if you are certain that the flagged word is spelled correctly. Selecting this option will save your spelling of the word to your hard drive and will prevent the spelling checker from flagging it again on your computer.
- Click Ignore All. Using this option will force JustWare to temporarily ignore the misspelled or unrecognized word wherever it appears throughout the text.
