Changes from JustWare 5 to JustWare 6¶
1. JustWare Screens (Start, Name, and Case screens)¶
The My JustWare Start screen is displayed by default when opening JustWare, but it's now displayed under the "home" tab in the topleft corner. The My JustWare Start screen can no longer be closed. If you need to change Start screens, then click on the dropdown in the top-right corner to see which My JustWare screens are available. You cannot have multiple My JustWare Start screens open at this time.
JustWare Name screens are now grouped under the "Names" section in the blue header.
When selected, then all of your Names will be displayed as individual tabs to the left of the home and search icons. To create a new Name, then click on the down arrow to the right of the Names section.
To close a name tab, you now have the additional option to "Close Other sessions in Section."
JustWare Case screens are now grouped under the "Cases" section in the blue header.
When selected, all of your cases will be displayed as individual tabs to the left of the home and search icons. To create a new case, then click on the down arrow to the right of the Cases section or click "More" and then "New Case Same Type" on the case screen.
To close a case tab, you now have the additional option to "Close Other sessions in Section."
2. Searching for records in JustWare¶
a. Searching for name, case, or document records can be done through the search function in the top-right corner or through the search icon to the left of the "Home" icon.
If the expected result is not displayed, then ensure that you are on the correct name, case, or documents tab. If you want the record to open automatically when only one result is returned, then you can check the "Open when only one result is found.
The number of results can also be filtered in the top-right corner to 10 (default), 20, and 30.
3. Generating Reports in JustWare¶
a. On Name and Case screens, reports have been moved from the sidebar or the navigation bar to a reports dropdown on the right-side of the screen next to the change screens dropdown. If you need to generate a system report, then go to the Reports section at the top of the screen to get access to your system reports as well as the other report folders (Calendar Docket, Case, Financial, etc.).
4. JustWare User Navigation Changes¶
a. General User Settings such as Font, Send Email Using, Color Preferences, and Clear Cached Code Tables and Clear Cached Sessions can now be found under Tools -> Basic Setup -> General User Settings.
To Reset All User Settings, go to File -> Reset All User Settings in the top-left corner
c. To set the user's Default Views (Name, Case, and Start screens) go to Tools -> Basic Setup -> Default View. As part of this, the standard
Name Entry screen now either uses "Basic" or "Basic with Contact Info"
The JustWare Log file can now be found under Tools -> Basic Setup -> Show Log File
Case Reassignment can now be found under Tools -> Case Tools -> Case Reassignment
The Duplicate Name Detection tool can now be found under Tools -> Name Tools -> Duplicate Name Detection
The Docket Calendar & Docket Management can now be founder under Tools -> Docket Tools.
5. Installing JDA 3.0¶
a. If JDA 3.0 is deployed through the JustWare Maintenance Console, then go to Tools -> Document Tools -> JDA Word Add-in.
a. To take payments, cut vouchers, and review agency accounts, go to Tools -> Accounting Tools
