My Tasks¶
The My Tasks session, located in the Views group of the Explorer Toolbar when you are on the My JustWare page, acts as a one-stop daily work environment for all users. See "Explorer Toolbar" for more information about the Explorer Toolbar. This view is one of the default My JustWare views that is included with JustWare. This view, which is customizable by your administrator, will allow you to see and work on everything that is important to your job in one central hub, reducing the amount of time spent navigating from case to case.
The My Tasks Session is configured to display all active case tasks that you are involved on, spanning multiple cases, without having to navigate to each case. Once a task has been selected, details about the case, which can be custom configured, will be visible and available for you to edit and modify straight from the My Tasks session.
Working in the My Tasks Session¶
Working from the My Tasks session is similar to working on tasks in an individual case, but from this view you can work on case tasks spanning multiple cases. This feature eliminates the need to navigate to individual cases.
The My Tasks session acts as a central hub where a user can view, update, and modify cases that have active case tasks in which the user is involved. The three sections are labeled that make up the My Tasks session.
The following sections are available for your use:
Section |
Description |
---|---|
Tasks |
This section lists all your active case tasks. Tasks that have been completed will not appear here. You may also create new tasks in this section and assign them to the appropriate cases. |
Task Involved People |
This section displays all the task-involved people associated with the selected task, enabling you to see others who are working with you on a task and identify those with whom you should collaborate. This snap-in eliminates the need to navigate to each individual case to find involved people. Additionally, email and pop-up reminders can be set up here for each task-involved person, making sure everyone involved in the task is aware of upcoming deadlines. You can also add additional task-involved people by clicking on the add record button. |
Details |
This section of the My Tasks session demonstrates the full power of this view. When a task is selected in the Tasks snap-in, pertinent information about the case is pulled into this section. The Details section acts as a container that houses a number of snap-ins found in the actual case. For more information about these snap-ins, see the applicable section in the documentation. Note: The selection of snap-ins pulled into this section can be configured using custom JWXML. As more snap-ins are added to this section, JustWare could run slower, depending on your hardware and network speeds. Contact your JustWare Administrator for more information. |
The Tasks snap-in and Task Involved People snap-in have some unique properties. Below are some tips for filling out information in each of these snap-ins. For information about the snap-ins contained in the Details section,
