The Electronic or Virtual Filing Cabinet is an electronic document management system. It give users the ability to store, manage, and generate documents electronically inside JustWare.
In the current digital age, documents are often created, disseminated and read in a digital format. While this helps organizations to reduce costs and waste, it creates a set of new challenges:
- How can you keep all of your case files together?
- How can you be sure that you have the latest version of a file?
- How can you make sure that others know where to find crucial documents associated with an individual or a case?
- How can you ensure that data is being entered correctly into forms?
JustWare's filing cabinet allows users to store, manage, and generate documents electronically inside JustWare.
JustWare's electronic filing cabinet feature helps users to solve these issues. Each name and case session has a Filing Cabinet snap-in, which acts as the means to store, manage, and generate electronic documents. Name filing cabinets are used for files that are specific to an individual (for example, a mugshot or a picture of a tattoo), while case filing cabinets are used for case-related files (for example, a subpoena). JustWare can store electronic files related to names and cases, including images, audio, video, and text files.
