Request Status

The first step you should take in the Configuration menu is establishing the request statuses. These are the statuses that will be used when managing the Request Queue. To add a new request status, follow the steps below.

  1. In the Request Status snap-in, add a new record.
  2. Enter information in the fields provided. Fields with an asterisk (*) are required.

    Field

    Description

    Code

Enter in the code that will be used to distinguish this code in the database.

    Description

Type a description for the code. For example, "Rejected." Note: This is the text that will populate the Status field in the Request Queue. Be as specific as necessary to avoid confusion.

    Code Type

    Select one of the three code types from the drop-down box: - 1 - Queued - 2 - Approve - 3 - Reject

Note: The code type you select will determine what actions are available when this status is selected in the Request Queue.

  3. Save the Session. (Click Save button or Ctrl+S)
