Search Result Options¶
Search Result Options allows administrators to configure what information is displayed in search results for names and cases. Each agency can be set up with different options so different users can see the detail in their search results that are most relevant to them.
Finding Search Result Options¶
Search Result Options is located in the General Configuration section of the Admin Landing Page.
Configuring An Agency's Search Results¶
- Select the agency to configure from the list on the left side of the section. That agency's current search result options will be displayed in the name and case tabs.

In the name tab, select the information that will be displayed in name search results:
- Phone Number: Select the phone number type to display for each result. If the name has an active phone number of that type, it will be displayed in their result. If the name has multiple phone numbers of that type, the most recently added phone number will be shown. Select "None" to never show phone numbers.
- Email: Select the email type to display for each result. If the name has an active email of that type, it will be displayed in their result. If the name has multiple emails of that type, the most recently added email will be shown. Select "None" to never show emails.
- Address: Select the address type to display for each result. If the name has an active address of that type, it will be displayed in their result. If the name has multiple addresses of that type, the most recently added address will be shown. Select "None" to never show addresses.
- Other Number: Select the name number type to display for each result. If the name has an active name number of that type, it will be displayed in their result. Select "None" to never show a name number.
- Next Event: Enable to display the next scheduled event's type and start time that this name is involved on.
- Aliases: Enable to display aliases associated with the name.
- Social Security Number: Enable to display the active social security number associated with the name.
- Total Owed: Enable to display the total amount owed by the name across their involvements. Clicking the button next to the total owed will break down what the name owes by agency.
3. In the case tab, select the information that will be displayed in case search results: - Case Number: Select up to two case number types to display for each result. If the case has an active number of that type, it will be displayed in their result. Select "None" to not show a case number. - Top Charge: Enable to display the charge with the lowest charge number (e.g. charge #1) on the search result. - JustWare Case ID: Enable to display the case's JustWare case ID in its search result. - Next Event: Enable to display the next scheduled event's type and start time on the case.

Copying Search Result Options Across Agencies¶
- Select the agency on the left side that has the search result options you want to copy to other agencies.
- Click the "Copy Search Result Options" button. A dialog window will open with the list of agencies.
- Select the checkbox next to each agency to copy the selected agency's options to. You can also check the "Select All Agencies" checkbox to select all agencies.
- Click the "Copy and Save" button to copy the options to all checked agencies.
Restoring Defaults¶
Click the "Restore Defaults" button to bring both name and case search options back to their defaults for the selected agency.
