Public Document Configuration¶
A document cannot be marked as a public document unless it meets the criteria set in the Admin ->Document Management -> Document Setup ->Public Documents Tab. If the document does not meet all requirements it cannot be marked as a public document.
Eligible Case Types¶
If a Case Type is not marked as eligible, any documents on that case cannot be marked as "Public". If a Case Type was eligible but is made ineligible the documents on all the cases of that type will remain marked as "Public" but will not be visible through JusticeWeb.
Eligible Case Statuses¶
If a Case Status is not marked as eligible, any documents on that case cannot be marked as "Public". If a Case Status was eligible but is made ineligible the documents on all the cases with that status will remain marked as "Public" but will not be visible through JusticeWeb.
Eligible Document Types¶
If a Document Type is not marked as eligible, any documents on that case cannot be marked as "Public". If a Document Type was eligible but is made ineligible the documents of that type will remain marked as "Public" but will not be visible through JusticeWeb.
Sealed¶
If a case or document is sealed the document will not be able to be marked as public.
Set Document to Public¶
Requires a Filing Cabinet with the correct JWXML, an example session, "Filing Cabinet With Public Documents", has been provided. See User Manual
Report¶
The "Public Document Search" report, located in the search folder and through the "Search" dropdown, will display the cases and documents that will be visible through JusticeWeb. It can be made publicly available through Admin -> JusticeWeb -> Report Management
